no, condit wasn't turning and countering, stepping to his side to throw...he was disengaging completely...at times literally running...also, many of his shots were purely flash for the judges...he fought to win on the cards, not to win a fight

that type of thing is possible because of the crap scoring system the UFC uses...camp jackson usually takes advantage of that

condit never pressed his attacks ever...i love countering, but at some point it should lead to breaking someone down, especially over 5 rounds...not 25 minutes of glancing of the elbows flying knees followed by turn and run away, and high kicks that someone walks through

CC outlanded him 146-110, and proved Diaz is one dimensional.

    Don't be mad homie.

i'm not mad, and quoting punch stats means nothing..."landing" tip-tap shots for the judges is something that MMA should not be, but is turning into.

I used to like watching condit, but now, i fear he will turn into a jackson point fighter. i'll have to add him to the edgar and evans group of guys i just won't go out of my way to watch. not that they care.

MMA is an art, not some tough man competition.

Frankie Edgar has been champ for the past two years and delivers.. Rashad is in another title fight so I don't know why you wouldn't be watching.

    Nick's next fight poster.

Stoo nailed it. Freakin hilarious all these Diaz "G" fans parroting the same **** with complimentary ebonics. Diaz' Muay Thai was **** and he was beaten in the pocket all night long. If he thinks he can do better than man up and rematch.

i'll watch evans fight, but not because evans is fighting, but for JJ, who although fights under jackson, actually tries to finish fights

the current amalgamation of MMA comes from getting fights to fit into time slots for PPV (anyone who watched the first few UFCs know exactly what I am talking about..thanks royce) and adhering to US congresses views of what MMA should be (to be allowed to be broadcast on PPV)

boxing is an art...MMA should be about doing everything you can to finish a fight

[and don't come back again ans say..."derrr condit deeerrrrrr has a huge finishing rate derrr" as no one is saying he doesn't]

*and edgar is a champ? so? he is still boring as **** all minus the fact that he gets his ass bloodied up in the first 2 minutes then puts on his flo jo's

MMA is art too.. I take that as an insult. Explain why MMA is about doing everything you can to end a fight.

"Hit and not get hit" for Boxing and "How schooled and versed are you in combat" for MMA.

The best in Boxing and MMA are the thinking men.. Men who have a better understanding of the sport and the fight game.

Rather than hate Condit for crashing the party and landing more strikes, it's Diaz you all should be disappointed with.. He had no answer for the technical striking and gameplan Condit presented.

Exactly, why is this Condits fault? Did Diaz do more to try to finish the fight?
