    are you serious here?

You dislike the Klits even more than Tyson or just being disingenuous?

IAgree.Vitali would give him a good fight but Tyson beats both Tyson ko4 Wladimir
Stops vitali on cuts in 7. remember the brewster article saying his key to beat wlad was
His left hook. i believe Tyson would catch Wlad with the left hook then lights out.
He still has enough in the tank to batter vitalis body

Wlad judges distance perfectly now and would physically bully Mike when needed.

Mike would beat Vitali, too much of a speed and general movement difference.

I find this statement incredible. Tyson was still pretty good at getting past jabs at this point, and was hyper aggressive. We can't ignore the intimidation factor that bewitched all but a small handful of Tyson's opponents as well.

I think Wlad has the totally wrong mentality and style to beat Tyson at this point, hell, at any point,...he gave ground to a non-threat like Haye, and giving ground to Tyson is a no-no.

Wlad just hasn't seen anything like what '96 Tyson brings to the table. I think we forget sometimes just how ferocious he was, and what amazing countering ability and handspeed he still had.

I give Vitali a far greater chance of weathering Tyson and even stopping him late than I do Wlad taking any sort of victory.

Wlad's made a better legacy sure, but I've never considered him a better fighter in general. And not in this match-up either.

I'd favor even post-prison Tyson over Wlad. Not a ton of confidence in it, but Mike's just about the worst kind of match up Wlad would ever run into, and it's not like he was a completely spent force after he came back. The guy was still a killer in the ring.

Vitali is an interesting fight, and a tough one to call. I think Tyson almost certainly runs through the rest of the division.

I agree. Vitali is a different kettle of fish to Wladimir. He's physically tougher, and has a fighter's mentality.
It's no given by any stretch the he'd win, but it would make for a compelling fight.

I've never been convinced by Wlad, and probably never will be. They say he's a better fighter than he was a couple of years ago. I doubt it.
The weaknesses and flaws have always been there, but his opposition and shrewd matchmaking have made him out to be better than he really is.

I can dig that. His KO rate and chin are appealing to me as well.

Tyson is my all-time favorite, bar none. However, I take a particular liking to Vitali in a lot of these H2H match-ups. He's a unique specimen. I give him his respect and view him as a legitimate challenger to alot of ATGs. It's an unpopular opinion, but it's reached a point where he's become the elephant in the room when he's blantantly excluded and people are bringing up size, physical attributes and the sort.

The post prison Tyson was only effective for three or four rounds. This is the key.

Aye m8, BUT i would say 5 Effective Rounds for 1995/1996 Mikey Tyson. :thumbsup

    [yt]jAm5UblVqZ8[/yt]

AND - you have got to give "Tinkerbell" a decent-ish chance, Afterall imagine Old Corrie "Golf, Donuts And Beer" Sanders keeping up his slugging-attack for 5 Rounds instead of only 2 Rounds before Gassing - VITLAY would of been in SERIOUS trouble!! :deal

"Tinkerbell" is smaller than "Golfer", But a SHITLOAD FASTER, And has Killer-Combos when his prey gets hurt.
