Why do people hate Dan Rafael so much?

i dont mind the guy i mean his notebook, scorecard and other updates on ESPN keep me up to date and inform me of fights i hadnt watched and i can read summaries

only gripes, he uses the word robbery a lot even i close fights

also he is not always consistent, like he will flame Povetkin for having the WBA regular and call him a fake champ yet when Gamboa or Rios has has the WBA regular they are a legit champ

 

Because he's fat.

 

He is seemingly nice but some of his scorecards are really bad(see Berto vs Ortiz I, Alexander vs Matthysse) and he doesn't react well when he's called out on them. He also is not consistent with what he calls a robbery vs a close fight.

He did a good job on Epix yesterday.

 

It's sad the overly opinionated windbags like Rafael are the best the boxing industry can come up with. The guy added nothing to the Epix telecast.

 

He had Berto winning 113-112 over Ortiz, and he had Alexander beating Matthysse by a couple of rounds I think.

 

i think when it was all said and done i had it to Ortiz by 2 points but after a tremendous lead at the halfway point

and i did not score the other fight but i figured Mattysse won but thought there was a chance that Alexander could have won

 

He seems to be a nice guy and he's very reliable when it comes to inside scoops. Really bad scorer though.
