Wouldn't happen. Floyd isn't stupid.

 

Floyd wouldn't fight Pacquiao in that manner for any prolonged period of time. But if he did, Pacquiao would take him out at some point. Floyd's defense is great, but playing the aggressor with Pacquiao would tax it too much.

both are declining but floyd is ad******g partly because he has taken less punishment than pacquiao.

Yes and no. He can walk him down but he cant really stand in front of him the whole time.
Everyone who walks into Pacquiao in a straight line gets punched in the face and Manny knows how to punch someone hard it in the face.

I dont think Floyd could trade with Manny. He will counter the **** out of him but trade ? Floyd is not a trader plus pacquiao has faster combination's.

Depends what you mean by trade. Trade in an all out war type bout - Mayweather wouldn't adopt, and probably shouldn't adopt/get dragged in to this tactic. But trade punches - Mayweather can trade punches with Pacquiao, but not for extended periods of time.

I highly doubt Mayweather walks down (an over used term IMO) Pacquiao though. Pacquiao thrives off of pressure, he thrives off of being hit and trying to land at least one more shot than he took.

 

Of course if he chose to he's got the size and weight advantage over him plus Floyd can infight almost as well as keeping his distance. But we know he won't take many chances and unless he's caught in a situation where he needs to he won't. He'll be content cruising to a victory and treat it like a classic and his gift to the world, but a win is a win. Floyd has proven to be much more versatile than Manny.

I think there will be a point in the fight where Manny is just hopelessly outboxed and he'll get frustrated and put his own back against the ropes doing his Roy Jones imitation. Whether Floyd takes advantage or not remains to be seen, but even tho he's a cocky overconfident sob outside the ring inside the ring he won't take any fighter for granted. He'd keep his mistakes to a minimum. Plus Uncle Roger always wants him to "bax" as a first priority.
