The only real chance Gamboa has is to hurt Rios early...

    ...and I mean REALLY hurt him. Rios likes to get hit. I mean he enjoys it. The more you hit him the more he gets into a fight. He has been this way since a little kid. This is why I continually say, "If you can't hurt Rios, you can't beat Rios". Rios will take Gamboa's best shots early in the fight like he always does with every fighter he meets. If Gamboa's power is not there to stop Rios. Rios will walk him down, seek and destroy and he will take Gamboa out. The first 3 rounds are critical for both fighters.

    Stop talking about Rios. He can get outboxed and lose without getting hurt. Gamboa is too fast.

    Rios will be easily outsped and outboxed if Gamboa doesn't get tired. He like a little AA....can't box worth a ****.

    sheeit i tried hating gamboa in this matchup as Rios is one of my favorites but i just can't do it, he's exciting as fawk and is coming up 2 weight divisions to fight rios :-(

    Gamboa is giving him a beating and takes him out somewhere in the middle rounds.

    you have to be crazy to think that if gamboa doesn't come into the fight with his defense and boxing skills fine tuned he wont win.

    When I told all of you over a year ago that Bam Bam Brandon Rios was the real deal and the future of boxing few believed me. Now all but a few don't believe me still. I can live with that.

    Rios is going to get ****ed up. He is fighting a guy with much more natural ability, a guy who wont be weight drained like Rios will and most importantly a guy with power that also is elusive and fast. Gamboa will hurt him and cause him issues like Diaz did but for 12straight rounds. As long as Gamboa's chin isnt an issue he will win. He is a better fighter than Rios in just about every aspect.

    I don't see better when I watch replays of Gamboa's fights. I only see faster and wilder.
