 I thought Vitali was the kickboxer?

If he can get away with it, that's actually a very clever move; if you are going to get up (god knows why you'd want too after that) it'd be much more difficult on one good leg.

i think that was more of an off-balance kick

i seen wlad do that alot throughout his career... well not kickng everytime, but alot of the times he raises his right leg in the aqir after a right hand

Explosion has more of an effect in terms of getting a ko.

Wlad's powerful, but his punches aren't all that fast.

I'd guess that Seth Mitchell's best punch is harder, and maybe Price. They just don't have the total package like Wlad. I GUARANTEE that Deontay Wilder's overhand right is more powerful than Wlad's. Deontay is up there with Shavers, Foreman, Tyson, etc as far as pure punch power. Probably at the top of the list.

I disagree about Wilder, you can't claim to have top quality power until you've knocked out a top quality opponent.

    Also, Wlad is deceptivley quick.

Like SJS said that makes sense with the one qualifier being that Tyson was shot to **** when he made his way to Roach (I think it was for the Ettiene and Williams fights). Power is the last thing to go, though. Tyson's speed and combinations are what made his power so deadly in his prime. His right hook to the body/right uppercut to the head combo was deadly. The speed, accuracy, and punches from all angles allowed Tyson to hit guys with shots they didn't see coming on a regular basis and tear people up. Tyson had great 1 punch power too, but Wlad is much bigger and very strong so I wouldn't doubt for pure 1 punch power Wlad would take it. The difference is Tyson threw every bit of his power in his punches while Wlad rarely throws shots as hard as he can. If Wlad would actually listen to Steward and use some of that power and take a few risks he might actually get HBO to put him back on. You're supposed to use a great jab to set up your power shots, not throw 90% jabs and not one HARD right hand all night because you're worried about getting hit. It gets old having to watch Steward scream at Wlad every fight to get him to open up on guys he should be able to get rid of quick.
