I was rooting for williams hardcore last night... ok not hardcore but i was def rooting for him, and not even I gave him the eleventh round... if i remember correctly, that was a big round for Quintana no?

and ive noticed in a lot of other fights too... i think hes getting worse at judging fights... i dont know how that happens.. but he is. lol.

I agree 100%. Ledermen has been really horrible of late. Maybe age?

His worst call EVER was still having Jirov beating Toney, something like 116-111. It was just outrageous...

Him scoring the Hopkins/Wright fight a draw was also a joke.

On the flip side, i think Max is incredibly accurate in his assessments.

I think he bets on boxing.
It the only way to figure why he was trying to sell a win for an obviously losing fighter.

Or the guy is simply losing his ability to properly score a fight.

I've Lederman score spot on, and I've seen him score like he was smoking crack throughout the fight...

The Wright-Hopkins fight was a pretty funny one as well.

One of Lederman's biggest faults is...HE ONLY SCORES FOR THE AGGRESSOR.

If someone is a counterpuncher by trade (BHOP, Toney, etc.), he has trouble scoring accurately for them.

I think you are SO right. He seems to give more importance to volume and aggression rather than PRECIOUS and clean punching.

I mean to me, he scores AGGRESSIVENESS, not EFFECTIVE AGGRESSIVENESS...

In the Toney-Jirov fight, Jirov threw 100 punches per round. He rarely hit Toney cleanly, and everytime Toney threw back, Jirov's teeth rattled. To me, it was one of the most obvious schoolings I had seen in a long time. Furthermore, Toney floored a spent Jirov in the 12th, and almost finished him off...

However, Lederman likes punches. I think that was shown in the scoring last night as well. Lederman liked that Paul Williams picked up the pace in the middle rounds, but his punches were NOT effective...
