    Cleverly is pressing the action, keeping Karpency herded into a corner. Left and right hooks up top by Cleverly. Big long shoeshine by Cleverly, punctuated by a big hard straight right. Then another long soft shoeshine. BIG SHOTS!! Karpency starts to brawl with him!! Cleverly allows him out of the corner, maybe tiring from all that exertion. Big body flurry by Cleverly. Karpency is leaning back against the ropes and pushing out with his left hand, trying to stave Cleverly off by shooing him away with a glove in his face. Cleverly keeps getting in low, working diligently with left hooks. Karpency backs up and tries to catch Cleverly coming on with uppercuts. Nothing doing.

    Why the **** did he deserve a "less taxing" fight.

    Cleverly seemed to feel the urgency that round and threw a few flurries with Karpency on the ropes, but wasn't really effective. Karpency survived, unfortunately.
