He arguably beat the 3rd best HW in the world and gave #2 his toughest fight in 9 yrs. I'd say he's performed well enough.

As to the OP. Derek has ALWAYS been somewhat of a loose cannon. And he oftentimes seems to be literally TRYING to mimic the ring antics of Tyson. Sadly, he's also mimicking his private life as well with the DV charges and the multiple priors.

However, Tyson was still allowed to continue his career. And he bit Holy's ear in half. He then bit Lewis leg in their PC. He's never shyed from controversial language in hyping a fight either. So, I see nothing that warrants a lifetime ban. Maybe a 90 suspension, but not a ban.

He can make plenty of money in the EU, but he should definitely not fight exclusively there. There are so many American HWs he can make decent money to fight, and there are plenty of promoters over here who would be happy to copromote with @#$$#@ to make a fight with DelBoy.

I do think Del NEEDS to step off the gas a bit and become the PROSPECT again. He's worthy of being called a contender, but he really needs to amp up his resume to get the money he deserves in a title fight. 600K for the HW Championship is bunk. A solid challenger warrants 1 mil+, and Del is as solid as they come. Except maybe mentally.

chisora just isnt that good skills wise he will lost to most of the top 10 and he will be forgotten soon. also i highly doubt chisora will come into his future fights in as good of shape as he did vitali.

 

He has to say these things now.He dont mean them he just wants the board to be as easy on him as they can be.

I find the whole notion of chisora and tyson being mentioned in the same context frankly disgusting.

Never ever will chisora scare anyone in a ring. He is at best a B class fighter and british champion is the best he can ever hope to get, and defend succsefully.
