It's illegal that's why they showed on the last episode of Freddie Roach. If Floyd wrap his hand like that he would knock out a heavyweight .
Also in the video, nobody from Marquez's camp was in the dressing room to watch Roach wrap Pacquaio aka Poochiao
Also someone got a link to said video, not just a link to that vid of him having tape on his hands first?
Not true.Nacho(the trainer of JMM) was in the dressing room asking for Manny's autograph on a number of items!atsch
guys guys...cut manny some slack...he had leg cramps vs jmm...thats why he looked like ****!!! just ask him!!!! lol...that was the best......roach looking at him "yeah we need to find someone who can take care of that problem"....when roach knew damn well in his heart that leg cramps had nothing to do with it
The generally accepted rule is that you can use 12 yards of bandage/gauze per hand secured with surgical tape (8 feet max). The method of using twisted tape is technically illegal. The exact method of hand wrapping is usually agreed between both camps in title fights prior to the contest and for all contests each camp is allowed to have a representative watching the process in the opponent's dressing room. There should be a member of the commission/governing body supervising the process for both fighters and the wraps are physically signed off by that individual to signify that the rules have been abided by.
What? That wasn't in the dressing room and it was way before they started wrapping the hands. There didn't seem to be anyone from the Marquez camp watching the wrapping.
If I remember right, it's a technique that Roach used after seeing Hoya's wraps. He complained about them, but they were apparently cleared and deemed legal, so Roach now uses them for Pac. If they've been approved, then I don't think there's a problem...and if there was anything dodgy going on, then Nazim Richardson would have kicked up a fuss before the Shane bout.
