He's more recent so he'll naturally garner more votes and mentions.

Saad and Chacon should definitely be seriously considered.

With Tyson, Trinidad, Morales, and Pacquiao you always got a tension or electric vibe and you just waiting like a ticking time bomb is about to go off because they were so explosive. Dramatic, come from behind victories no doubt Marciano and Gatti.

Gatti by a mile. Corrales was ****ing great. Morales? Still Gatti by a long way.

    Not a bad call.

John Garfield would be good on this subject.

Hagler was more the sort to be appreciated by the hardcore fans.
He only made any sort of crossover in his last few years.Much as I'm a huge fan,his style would not appeal to the casual fan the way Gatti would.

Hagler is terribly overrated, or should I say, misclassified, as an "action" fighter. That's not to say he was dull, but the Hearns and Mugabi fights have totally distorted people's views on his boxing style.

Tyson was the best for highlight reel knockouts. I think he has the best collection of exciting KOs, followed by Louis. For two-way action bouts, you go with fighters like Holyfield, Saad, Gatti, Chacon, Morales, etc...

For a second there i thought you were gonna say he is overrated.

But yeah i didn't love him because he was an action fighter but because he was a complete fighter.
