I agree with rest of your post except for this bold part. Manny is much leaner/longer/taller than Bradley.
Manny is listed as 5'6.5" with a 67" reach; Bradley is listed as 5'6" with a 69" reach. Manny's certainly leaner in build and Bradley is stockier, but does Manny have greater arm length or something too? :think
Fight off the jab... Double an trippling the jab. Move to his left, pacs right, away fro the money punch. Limit exchanges and makr it an ugly fight' he kant really use the marquez style andu use the counter approach or else hell look like mosley an fall fir every feint and be to defensive to win on points. Move his head a lot, 1-2 and grab or spin manny. Never pull head straight back. Watch gettin his jab countered by straight lefts. Try to avoid leading with hooks and straight rights, leaves him volnurable in exchanges. Smother pac and his shots. Jab the body maybe even right hands to the body but mos def jab the body to mess pacs rhythm. Dont get overwhelmed by pacs fancy footwork. Stay calm when he attacks. Dont get excited and start to chase or follow pac. Mix up ur look, lead as much as u box.dont ever let pac find his rhythm he is far to dangerous. When he does pressure to it with lateral emovement not straight lines or he well get caught with combos.
I would say the intentional, unintentional head butt is the key. It's the almighty equalizer. If Bradley can find a way to headbutt Manny about 4 or 5 times, he can possibly win this fight. The name of the game, the key to the fight, is if Bradley is able to neutralize Pac by way of headbutt. If not, he's in for a long night.
use your movement, don't charge in...get pac to extend (which he loves to do) and then attack...if you get him close to the ropes, then go andre ward style...but don't just assume you can push him around like cotto did, or rush in like hatton oh, and like someone else just said...make it an ugly fight...pac gets frustrated easily in ugly sloppy fights
Get in a good shot or two early, just enough to make Manny respect you, then begin using lateral movement and fighting smart. Bradley is a good counter puncher when he wants to be, and he's especially good at countering from weird angles that most people wouldn't use, or where it looks like he's not in punching position. For example, check out a couple of spots from the highlight of him vs Abregu: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5jQtJyS1D4[/ame] (0:45, 1:00, 1:13, where you can see that although Bradley misses the punch, he's not squared up with Abregu, he's off to the side and ready to move that way if need be, 2:05) He needs to use that, lure Pacquiao into those positions while staying at the right angles and maintaining the right movement so that Pacquaio's offense can't get to him. On top of that he needs to fight disciplined and smart, hit hard with the counters, hit Pacquiao coming in then move before Pac can respond, messing up Pacquiao's rhythm. Pac's movement and ferocity haven't been the same in recent years, take advantage of that by controlling the range and engagement. When on the inside, rough things up to further mess with Pac. Pac has never been a great inside fighter, nor has he shown a willingness to fight dirty. Bradley can do both well and discombobulate Pac. Oh, and refrain from going into wide punching or getting drawn into prolonged brawls. That'll give Pacquiao's greater accuracy and tighter punches a chance to come up the middle against those winging shots that Bradley likes to use, and Pac will carve him up if he does that.
Honestly, I'm not familiar enough with Bradley's style to give an thorough assessment of how the fight will go, but I will say that Pacquiao has a real chance of losing this one. I don't think he will, though. Pacquiao will win mostly because of what Bradley doesn't do. Its gonna be an ugly fight.
I would stick to straight boxing against Manny. Stay at long range and short range. Mid range is where Manny wants you to be. I would circle left constantly and feint the hell out of him and work off of a good quick jab. Manny can't fight on the inside for ****. He use to let his hands go way back in the day on the inside but he got away from that and it could be his downfall in this upcoming fight. Manny is wide open for right hands, and if Bradley can shoot his shots straight down the pipe instead of looping them then he can land that right all night long. Bradley doesn't have the best defense but he has enough if he uses it the right way. We shall see come fight night.
Cotto got knocked down right after an exchange on the inside where all pac did was back up and nail him with an uppercut.
