So, if Miller beats Diaz does anyone really want to see Henderson and Miller fight again? What could Miller possibly do different next time? I'm sure Dana is crossing his fingers that Nate wins that fight.
Fighting more conservativly could help. The standup in the 1st fight was even but what hurt Miller really was just going after every little opening he seen on the ground. Jim is an amazing Jiujitsu guy but he had to know Ben's own level of submission defense and every little opening he seen he jumped on it. Guillotines that werent really there, every time he seen a leg he went for it, standing arm triangle. These where low percentage submissions and when he lost them he got his face pounded in for it or when he went for legs he left openings to get hit and hit hard. Ive seen less competitive fights wind up getting rematches in title fights.
Why not Pettis? Or why not Pettis vs Edgar for next in line after Diaz beats Miller? I really don't expect much from Miller, maybe he really was during his cut for Bendo? He seems vulnerable to the sort of striking game Diaz can impose.
um pretty obvious anthony pettis 2. I wanna see anthony petitis do this to bendo, [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9KVdPqRS3c[/ame]
Pettis gaining ground. Have to admit that I am a huge fan of Showtime! That kid brings it every time out.
I don't know. If people think the decision was controversial then Frankie should get it because he fought 2 rematches in a row. He could have hid behind his fluke BJ win or his lucky draw but he didn't, he came back to win clearer. If Frankie moves down then its got to be Pettis and then Diaz Miller winner after that. However Melendez needs to be in the UFC or lower level fighters who are cut need to be given to him as cannon fodder. Is the UFC for the elite fighters OR is it only for the fighters who the UFC decide they want to be considered elite i.e. Melendez. Everyone knows he is elite but he is getting frozen out because 155 is stacked.
