FW said he was laughing at Chisora, the interview Wlad did with Lillis says it all

Sorry to break it to you, but he no longer boxes, he's retired.

I'd love to see him fight Vitali, but it's looking more than likely it will never ever happen.

The WBC is a joke and need to remember that they are a commercial entity, not a governing body. They have no business imposing fines or bans. This is the role of the local comissions, boards and federations.

Alas, LC, the WBC are so utterly corrupt that they care not for rules, etc. I just wish fighters would stop paying them money. The belt's history has been tarnished for years.

    Agreed.

For the life of me I can't recall the length of Bernard Hopkins' ban when he disrespected an entire nation with the flag incident prior to the Trinidad fight?

The WBC are heavily biased towards Vitali. He broke their rules regarding ring size, yet nothing happened, he doesn't have his wraps checked by the WBC and was randomly given that 'champion emeritus' bollocks when he announced he'd return.

It's a farce. The WBC are breaking their own rules to favour him.

Haha... I think it lasted until he flattened Tito in the 12th. Then they realised the favoured money-maker was not getting out of this one.

Just look at Rocchigiani and you can see how ludicrous the WBC was even in what, 1998? They're crooks.

You got to give the WBC credit for standing up to this thug. Chisora's actions were terrible, I think the WBC have shown in the past they always fight for the dignity of the sport. In the past they told Tyson where to stick it, when the thug who bit off part of Holyfield's ear wanted to fight their champ Lennox Lewis earlier this Century...

The slap was a BIG mistake, but sometimes things get tasty at weigh-ins, Kenny Anderson giving George Groves a Glasgow kiss immediately springs to mind! However its hard to defend these actions. If you were in a job and someone nutted you or slapped you on the chops cos he didnt like you? This is the world we live in nowadays. Boxing has always been about doing your business in the ring, & thats that.

However, didnt Ali & his brother assault Joe Frazier on live TV? That was OK though cos Ali was hilariously funny! Boxing is so ****in hypocritical, always has been, always will be.
If the ban was as a result of chisora being sucker punched by David Haye? Chis walked over & put a mic to Hayes face. If Ali did that? The world would have laughed & been horrified if an opponent raised his hands in defiance.
Chis did what showmen do, he challenged Haye to a future fight with Mic in hand.

So retired egomaniac Haye takes a cheap shot & Chisora is the bad guy? The mind boggles:-( As Chisora so prophetically said after the Helenius fight- "boxing is the most corrupt sport in the world" or words to that effect, & how true does it ring as the WBC are suddenly the boxing police...

To cut a long story short, this is way over the top. Hes not the first boxing badass & hopefully wont be the last, so give him the right to fight, especially as hes the first guy to give Vitali a real test in years... thats what I preach.

But since this is the WBC they could always create a new belt that can only be contested between banned fighters and or fighters who have lost to a Klitschko. Do that and Jose will have himself a nice little earner if Chisora/Haye ever decide to meet in the ring.:p
