If Pac had lost the fight to Marquez, would you still think he deserves 50/50?

If Pac had rightfully lost the 3rd Marquez fight like 2/3 of the boxing community, Pacquiao himself, and Roach thought he did, would you still say that he deserved 50/50?

He'd still be an exact half the equation of selling the fight and the better salesman in 2011, so yes. The counter-offer that was given could work better here as well.

HE did lose, Mayweather was trying to cherry pick Pacquaio coming off a loss, Pac said he needed a rebuilding fight

yeah just look at his ppv buys . his last 3 totals are better then floyds last 3. it's 50/50 get used to it. None of you floyd ass lickers had a problem with 50/50 before untiil now.

if floyd comes out and says Pac has to wear 16 oz gloves and fight at 154 youl find a way to defend that too.

    This.

But if Pac had oficially lost, then Mayweather's position of wanting more money than Pac would be perfectly understandable, and much more people (and not only the rabid Floydiots as of now) would side with Floyd instead of labeling his ludicrous offers as nothing more than smokescreens to masquerade his shameless, blatant ducking of Pac.

If the correct decision had happened, then it would have played right into Floyd's hands and all you would hear is "he's coming off a loss to a guy I beat with ease" so it's unlikely there would be any chance of Floyd even thinking about 50/50.

When negotiating money, its not based on a fighters record, its based on ability to sell PPV and generate income.

And on that factor they are even, so no, Win or lose, its a 50/50 fight.

PAC won an unpopular decision but it was a close fight. I personally had Marquez up by a round at the end of the 12th round. But what matters is what is etched in stone. Had it been a robbery like what happened to Campillo then it would be whole other story... at the end of the day the champion held on to his title by winning a close, competitive fight that could have gone either way. Sounds like boxing to me.
