I am a Povetkin fan, but facts are facts. The Klitschko's have used their talent and size by dominating a division. Povetkin's beginning was good and very promising, but it seems like he never had the true will of becoming a champion and i come to this conclusion by seeing his shape getting worse each fight and him coming slower and slower all the time. Anyone who has followed his game from the Olympics in 2004, knows from the Huck fight that Povetkin is DONE (He won in points, but hey Huck wasn't someone supposed to go the distance with Povetkin, it shouldn't have been a war with Huck no way)

So if a 40 years old Vitali gets injured and can't use his left jab, Povetkin would have a chance at beating him? That might be true.

But it doesn't make Povetkin one iota of a better boxer than Vitali. Even with everything stacked against Vitali it would still - at best - be a 50/50 fight.

    Nah,

Byrd was shot and Chagaev was past it... Chambers was never really that good, and in fact, probably improved following the Povetkin loss.... Vitali has much more depth, ie. Adamek, Peter, Sanders, Hide, Johnson..... Neither man's win list is steller persay, but Klit trumps anything that Povetkins done.

Guy just went life and death with Huck, who most people rate lower than Adamek.

One thing which is bigger on Povetkin's record is
the number of occasions when he ducked Wlad :rofl
