I stared it on monday and so far it like the boxing work outs. I stared because I had a injury so I didn't work out for 4 months, so it's difficult right now.

Has anybody here tried the program?

I haven't done insanity, but isn't it just HIIT? If so, it works as well as you do. There isn't a lot of black magic to it. If you work your ass off doing it, then you'll get good results. If you don't, it won't work.

What is your goal? Weight loss? Fight shape ? Bulking up ?

My goal is to lose weight because I do have some bad habits when I don't work out and 4 months of unactivity got me in a really bad shape.

Insanity is a cardio based work out in which you work for full speed at a long period and rest for a really short period. It's a two month program with a calendar and nutrition guide.

I can honestly say as a boxer that I found it beneficial.

Yeah, I've done a fair bit of high intensity interval training and similar stuff, and if you eat right then the lbs will drop off.

The intensity and short recovery periods help when you get back to boxing also.
Let us know how you get on!

Does eating right and training hard work? Yes...

If you want a nice lil change but still good intensity then sure, but its more total fitness and less boxing oriented
