I think this fight would be very interesting. Hopefully one day we can see it.

    Who takes it?

The funny thing is, Dmitry has fought better opposition than Bute

    Gotta favour Bute here though.

Bute beats him, bad matchup for Pirog.

    Bute.

I liked Pirog in that fight, where he beat the favourite, but the hype seems to have followed from there. I haven't seen no other fights with him.

Has he been fighting regularly ?

I'd love to see more of him.

Pirog has to be the most criminally mis-managed fighter I've seen in a while. After looking sensational against Jacobs in 2010, he's only fought TWICE. And his next opponent hasn't even been announced yet.

^^ What he said. I understand it is difficult to get fight against somewhat known names but being so inactive. i mean he is fighting 1 fight at year and he is propably at his prime..? I wonder when he said he is going to retire if he is not getting any big names is true...:think

It is damn shame Pirog is Great boxer to watch.

Talking about that, whats happening with Jacobs?

Fought 2 after his loss and then nothing....it's been a year.

Never gonna happen. And Bute is a lot bigger than Pirog on fight night... would almost be a Slickster version of Chavez-Rubio.

Pirog is a good fighter. He was only active in 2 fights last year, hope to see more of him this year. Hopefully against Sexy Sergio :hey.
