His fight against Kostya, albeit a past prime Kostya, was probably his best performance as a fighter. Brutal unrelenting pressure.

My fav part about the Zoo fight was when Hatton held his head and hit him 4 times.

not making weight for a fight once is bad, but doing it twice means that fighter doesn't want to do it anymore

fair play on kosta for taking the fight.

That hatton was very good. It wasn't pretty. But it was very affective.

I even think he'd have beat floyd at 140 if they'd met at MEN arena that night..

seriously my friend, don't do that.

we all accept that hatton deserves a lot of respect for finding out how good he was, but accept that he (and tszyu for that matter) were a class under floyd

I believe he'd have won a controvertial decision. Bear in mind going into round 11 against floyd the HBO team had it 5 rounds a piece. So a better hatton that we had at 140 who was possessed that night and walked through alot more shots than he took against floyd.
I think he would have got the win.
People stateside would have complained about the fouls he got away with and the controvertial decision. There'd have been a big money rematch in Vegas. And floyd would win,

I admit floyd is a class above but i would never admit he beats hatton everytime they fight.

He would have been disqualified if that fight was anyplace but the UK. It was disgraceful what that referee allowed.

no offense, pal, but that's only your british allegiance talking.

i respect hatton as much as any fighter, especially britain's poor record (which is changing) of keeping their best fighters at home and never chasing the biggest fights as a result
