Froch vs Bute

Id tend to disagree. Bute is probably the only SMW capable of knocking Froch out. Froch hates it to the body as evidenced in the Kessler fight and Bute is in my opinion the most devestating body puncher around at the minute, could easily see him drop Froch with a shot to the gut. But yes, as good as Froch is, he is even better in Nottingham. He wont take a step back and it will be a cracking fight.

 

I think we can all agree it will be an exciting fight to see for the fans, no matter the outcome. :bbb:deal

 

Froch will be locked and loaded for this fight. Froch will also be open to powerful left hooks/uppercuts to the body when throwing the right hand either leading or following his long rangy jab.

I agree Bute is capable of knocking the guy down, but knocking him out for the count... I have a hard seeing it, as Froch will have Gatti-like determination on the night.

Seems like alot of people are writing the Cobra off, after one bad performance and I agree he looked outclassed against Ward.

But Bute isn't Ward.

For the first time in a very long time Froch has had to take a good look at himself and go back to the drawing board. Froch is a candid guy when it comes to his own stengths and weaknesses, he'll be working over time to correct any faults, tighten things up and adding new trix. I agree with Jozzy he'll be more ready and up for this for this one than any fight before. I mean where does he go from here if he loses?

If there's a fighter that can comeback after a big very public loss with a iron determination and possibly a few new weapons in the arsenal I'd have to say it'd be Carl Froch.

I'm hoping it'll be a Froch win, but which ever way it pans out I think we're in for a classic.

Yes Bute is better than Ward !

This is the reason Bute accepted to fight at Nothingam after Dirrel controversially fight with Froch , as a champion Bute could pick a neutral place .

bute keeping his right arm low will be to temptimg for froch and he will get caught with counters all night. and add to that the fact he will be in home turff and want to please his fans... it will be interesting to see how this all works out. cant wait.

 

It'd be a mistake to confuse confidence with a garunteed win, you can't see a fighter of Froch's calibre as a certain victory, I'm sure Bute doesn't see Froch as an easy garunteed win. Anyway, If he loses he gets a rematch in Canada, I'd imagiine better for him than a neutral ring.
