He's gonna be sitting on his #2 IBF ranking until a final eliminator for Bute's mandatory status is ordered, i.e. vs winner of George-Rodriguez. If he wins that, he'll be waiting after the big domestic pay day (Bute fight) which would probably happen only in 2013, if Bute doesn't move up beforehand that is.

If Bute succeeds with his plan of facing Ward and Kessler back to back, he'll never face Stevenson. Unless Stevenson goes to LHW...

First, Bute's got a hard task against Froch. Next, there's almost no chance that the negotiations with both Ward and Kessler goes that well. I think he'll fight a mendatory opponent between these guys and Stevenson would make a big fight in Montreal, as both are fighting there.

Are you discounting the fact that George-Rodriguez is the eliminator counterpart to Stevenson-Gonzales?

this is a fight i dont see hapening is stevenson bute....

too low risk for bute....pascal would be a bigger payday and less of a threat, and bigger name....also stevenson said that he dropped bute in sparing a while back, and that he was the person bute hated sparing against the most because of his power...

stevenson has a future if he can find the oponents...

i actually think he would have a much much bigger career if he would move down to vegas or somwhere in the states...where he could get more opponents ready to fight and build his name faster....at his age he really needs to pick up the pace especially if his fights dont last long enough to tire him out

stev vs arthur would be great, just 2 strong punchers going at it, fan friendlier to watch than a ward bout.

Who would be able to but his power punches first is the only question to ask.

You do realize that you are saying that a previous LHW Ring Champion would be less of a threat than a SMW contender who never fought against anyone good?

Considering Abe don't throw punches until about the 3rd round, I'd take Stevenson to KO him in 2. It would take him a round to figure out the high guard of Abe.:yep

yes i do..ive met both guys in person, and have seen them train....pascal is much less of a fighter than stevenson....stevenson is a much better fighter all around..pascal's career is just furthur ahead...

pascal vs adonis...adonis wins for sure...

pascal is over rated...he is an A level fighter but not champion material, pascal will never hold and defend a title successfullyfor a period of time, he will win a title and then loose it a few fights later like he has already done...
