    Jones.

Naturally, G-Man would be extremely dangerous due to his power (and size), but Jones is just so much more proven, and also uber-gifted.

True, but I can't see roy winning by k.o because geralds chin was like iron, and roys chin is glass, I think if gerald caught him it would have been lights out, plus I heard g man beat jones in the amateurs

At MW it would be one of Roy's best ever wins surely?

Who did he face at MW that was tougher proposition than a prime Mcclellan?

G-Man did beat him in the AMs. Either Roy by a 2-3 point UD, or G-Man by UGLY KO in rounds 8-10. 50/50 on what would happen.

It would be a bad ass fight either way

That's a lie. They were both supposed to fight each other after their respective fights at SMW, if they both won. Jones won against Toney, but we know what happened to G-Man tragically. This is actually documented, not some bogus nonsense that circulates.

And when did you see Jones get KO'd in his prime? He fought against bangers in his prime, among others who applied pressure. All this glass jaw crap, get that **** outta here, he a old man, used up, and has been so since 2004 and his a shell of himself, using this as a basis of what could happen in his prime is absolutely ridiculous and is a hallmark of the ******s that come to the general section who know jack**** about boxing. G-Man was a good fighter, but he fell in love with his power. Had he fought Jones at the time when he fought Benn, he would've lose Unanimously. He turned into a head hunter who didn't use his boxing skills at much (didn't go to the body as much, and wasn't jabbing like he did before, and wasn't giving angles), and didn't pace himself. Jones would've out boxed him... it would be interesting if he wasn't in a regression skill wise at the time.

McClellan by KO. Roy was fast and picked his opponents, always kept his chin protected. A pressure fighter llike McClellan would eventually get through. Another potential problem for Jones would have been Julian Jackson, if Jackson could have gotten through Jones' defense and tapped his chin, guaranteed crushing KO.
