Bloody hell. Here we go again. Wladimir Klitschko is a great fighter. He can take a bit of criticism now and again. He does hold. That doesn't make him **** don't worry. Don't get upset please.

i've been lurking this forum before the crash in 2004.
Back then no one talked **** about Lennox hugging the **** out of Tyson's decomposing body...and guess what, 2012 still no one talks **** about that, but they talk **** about Wlad hugging Mormeck.

 

You realise Wlad fought this weekend, right? What are you saying? Because something didn't happen 10 years ago then it can't happen now.

Wlad was fighting a forty year old cruisers weight and held excessively. People have criticised it. It's no big deal.

This is quite true. Back in the day, a lot of people, including sports writers, disliked Ali's holding.
- And not just the body: Ali often held his opponent behind the head and then punch him, which is a clear violation.

- But Ali had "the greatest" mob connections, and so received a lot of help from the refs. He was still a fine boxer, with a great chin and heart for days, but he was a dirty fighter.

 

Be realistic, Wlad could **** up his opponents 6 ways to sunday and the usual ******s would still come up with excuses and **** to throw at him.

I was point out the obvious, the same ppl. who criticize Wlad didn't said **** back when Lewis fought tyson.
Tyson was in no point or shape better that night against Lewis then Mormeck against Wlad.
Both fighters hugged their much inferior foe, only one gets **** for it.

The thing is i wasnt even a klitschko fan 5 years ago, true i admired their skills and grit, but far from being a fan.
The sad idiots like Fighting Weight and Jack with their pure and unjustified hate, made me realise how good the bros where and made me a fan..

The same sad idiots whos only reason of existence on this forum is to bash and throw **** at accomplished fighters

When Wlad goes into full jab hold, 1-2 hold jab jab hold mode it it makes for incredibly frustrating viewing and will rightly get criticised for it. Is it effective? YES, is it fun to watch? NO.

OP needs to stop crying that people moan about his Boyfriend having a legitimately boring and frustrating style to watch.

 

Yes but I doubt people made ridiculous claims like 2 ATG heavyweights with undoubtedly weaker resumes than Ali, foreman, Lewis etc, were the greatest heavyweights of all time. It works both ways not just for Klitschko or against Klitschko

I think any fighter can be criticised for holding. Lewis did hold Tyson a lot. Ali held Foreman and Frazier. It's less that Wlad holds in itself that winds people up, it's more the fact that he doesn't really need to. He can risk a few uppercuts against someone like Mormeck. But Lewis fighting up close with Tyson? Probably not a good idea, even a past it Tyson could still crack like a ****er with one punch. Ali with Foreman and Frazier, again not a good idea. Wlad really demonstrates that he lacks confidence on the inside and has little inside game, which is fine, but he should be willing to learn to do that, especially against someone like Mormeck.
