When you are sick you shouldn't push your body. Then your body only gets worse. When I get a cold I always do a little training just to sweat, but never push myself.
If you are a boxer then not much. First I would want to know at what weight class you fight in. The second thing is the pace of the run: It is better, in my opinion, to run 2 miles at your top speed than to run 5+ at a slug's pace. So, I do not know. What else can you do?
I knew this guy one time who ran 6 whole miles in the rain when he had a broken leg. True Story. He is way cooler than you.
No need for smart ass answers im just trying to gauge how fit i am when im not at 100% i run at a pretty fast pace and im a heavyweight i weigh 15 stone
You sound to me like some of the peole at my gym, doing sprints 2 days before a fight "just to see if they are fit enough". If you dont want silly answers dont ask silly questions. Also you dont need other people to tell you how fit you are. You know in yourself how fit you are by how hard you train. 5 miles with a cold is not clever or will it benefit you at all. Your body needs rest for your immune system to be fully functional you only make youself weaker by exercsing with a cold..
there are much better ways to test your fitness. thats why they invented a wide variety of fitness tests
Your body sounds fit, but your mind is dumb as hell. When you have a cold, you need to rest up and get better. Training is going to make the cold last longer, or get worse.

^^^^^^^^^ LOL...i can't even run 2 miles w/out havin to take a lil walking break or something for a minute or two. and that's not even running fast. i don't know if it's just the fact that i get bored and don't really have the heart to do all the running. or if i am actually just outta shape. in basketball or nething i can run for a long time. and hittin the heavy bag n other things i can go a very long time 30-60 mins. nebody ever have this problem??
