    Let's start with the bad... Gamboa did sign a 2 year extension. He isn't happy about it and he feels he wasn't treated well.

    Now the good, he does want the fight with Rios! However, in order to accept the fight, he wants a release from Top Rank from the 2 year contract he signed.

    Gamboa himself will give his version very soon...

    Btw, I know a few people that know who I got this info from. However, I would ask them not to reveal it since he asked me himself not to.

    This dose not sound as far fetched as some other things on this site. Sounds like gamboa got a little plan developing. It’s good to see fighters sticking up for them self’s.

    This is believable... now what will Arum do? Agree I doubt IMO he is gonna find a loophole somewhere that he aagreed to the fight and it will proceed as Bobby arum the Harvard graduate wants it to. You can't snake a snake into agreeing with you this way arum will find a way.. by either forcing him to proceed or threaten wasted 2 years with legal BS and unimportant fights.. if he felt used before he is gonna feel even worse if tries and get smart with arum knowing full well arum has hhis life for 2 years.

    This situation sounds familiar and the ending will probably be the same: RIP Gamboa's career, at least temporarily.

    He's stuck with his promoter. He ****s this up, he'll just be in worse position from here out. Gamboa needs to man up and fight. Looks like his affiliation w/ Mayweather isn't having the best impact here.

    My source is good. Me and some members of this site knew the fight wasn't going through since some time now because that same person told us. Everything you guys learned yesterday, we heard about it two weeks ago, we just couldn't talk about it.

    And stop the "man up and fight" nonsense. Gamboa doesn't give a damn about Rios, in his opinion he would destroy him easily. He's just trying to do the best thing for the rest of his career right now. And yes, I agree that he's kind of fked with that extension signature he gave. But nobody here knows how those things happen behind closed doors so no one can really judge.

    When exactly did he sign the extension? Last week you made it sound like an extension was a condition of the fight and the main thing that Gamboa did not want. Also, is it true that Oner wanted a further extension for the Rios fight?
