Do you think 5'8 is too short for LHW?

    Thats pretty damn short for that weightclass but oh well...

    Montell Griffin - 5 ft 7 in Light Heavyweight

    i tryed to find his highlight vid on youtube but nocando. you would have to watch the 5'7 light heavyweight vs james toney twice to appreciate would shorter man could do in the ring at light heavyweight.

    Thanks for the info. I just recently got into boxing just to lose weight but I'm really loving it and would love to compete one day, I just couldn't see myself any smaller then 170..

    was just talking to dude of mine about the same thing today, i told him what ever your walking around weight is, you might as well shave off 20 pounds. what do you walk around at if you dont mine me asking.

    Here y'go dude.......study this guy. He's in the white trunks, obviously. He was known as Dwight Braxton back then, changed it to Dwight Muhammad Qawi later. He was a shade under 5'7".

    It's short for a middleweight. They'd need some brilliant other attributes to compete at light heavy.
