jermain taylor, kelly pavlik, juan guzman, floyd, pac, victor ortiz, amir khan. andre ward not for anything in the ring but the obsurity and inability to capture the imagination of the public. lately nonito donaire because he's finally getting some media attention and his last two fights he hasn't been able to put on that type of performance he showed with montiel and darchynian so people might no longer tune in when he fights expecting a dud.

Judah - I love this mofo's style of fighting. Great speed, power, and mobility, but he has proven time and time again to be a mental midget. He was always an exciting fighter in my opinion, but lacked mental fortitude to become elite. Waste of talent.

Ortiz - another naturally talented guy that is big mental midget. He is still young enough to redeem himself, but I very much doubt the ***** will.

Mayweather - as gifted and accomplished as he is, he has always lacked the excitement factor. He should have continued to fight like he did when he was "pretty boy." Because Money May is the much more boring and idiotic version of Floyd.

What do you mean horrible work ethic? He's by far one of the most harder working boxers out there. His slogan is hardwork, dedication ffs.

He had hand problems from years back, and he takes time off to be his family. That isn't a problem with work ethic, he just chose other priorities in his life.

    Prince Naseem Hamed.

With the handspeed, angles, power and chin he had at his disposal he had all the ingredients to be near on unbeatable. But he never really learned how to box. And thats how Barrera beat him. If he could of learned how to win rounds on workrate i think hed of beaten Barrera and after him out the way who would of stopped him from retiring a legend, maybe unbeaten.

Not the most frustrating fighter but whenever I see a rocky Juarez fight I always find myself yelling at the TV "COME ON LET DEM HANDS GO!!!!"

Deontay Wilder and David Price. So gifted but they simply refuse to do any squats whatsoever.

I've said many times here that I despise Judah for pissing his talent away.I'm going to show my age here but when I was just getting into the game there was a guy called Kirkland Laing.I saw him beat (an admittitedly out of shape) Duran and a couple of other fights. This guy could have been the slickest fighter to come out of these shores, but the pipe won the day.
I was instantly taken with Razor Ruddock(in a boxing sense) after the first fight with Mike, but in the pre-net days the only way to find out about him was The Ring and he was very inactive. The fight with Lennox was the night the lights went out on that one.
I'm going through a big Tapia phase just now, imagine him without the demons? But I suppose that guy has known pain most of us never will,so that's not really frustration.
Eubank frustrated me.I was a big fan and I know he did well, but so many of his fights were snoozefests. You knew he was capable of so much better.
    Excellent thread as usual SJS.
    Brilliant mention of Gainer BTW.

Mayweather. never takes the most intriguing fight. but i can't blame him. he can take a fight with a less dangerous opponent and he'll still make 20 million lol

A really obvious that I don't was mentioned...Ike Ibeabuchi. The guy looked like a monster...then he had his issues.

2 weight world champion Harry Simon looked like an excellent talent at the turn of the century...then he threw he had his out of the ring automobile issues and wasted a lot of good years.
