exactly niccuhs get old and niccuhs forget

  7. Mosley
    ODLH
    Margarito
    Pacquiao

Although they all have great chins... Margarito and Pacquiao have both been knocked out from head shots or accumulation of head punches... The other 2 were only knocked down at spots in their careers... Mosley took a hard knockdown from Forrest but survived til the final bell, and took a flash knockdown from Pacquiao. De La Hoya's 2 stoppage losses were a body shot and a corner stoppage in a fight with no knock downs, but he took a few flash knockdowns in his career.

  8. Dude was knocked down a total of twice in his entire career and has never been stopped. :huh

Margarito - for 8 round he got hit clean with Haymakers from Sugar shane, other 3 didn't take that punishment
Mosley - dropped twice in his prime only
ODLH - dropped in the lower weights, could be stunned
Pac - Although if you really think about it he has taken clean blows from guys that weigh near 20 pounds more than himself - P4P probably the best

I might be wrong, but I never really saw DLH hurt from a head shot. Not counting the catchweight fight.

I don't have time to elaborated but:

Oscar (never hurt by a head shot as someone stated took 10 of the shots that put Hatton to sleep against Pac at the end of his career)
Pac Iron cast chin rarely hurt and very often hit
Margo very strong chin but was cracked by an old shot Mosley. Also he seemed hurt in his first fight at 154
Mosley very good chin hurt at 154

Honestly... with the exception of Cotto, Pac hasn't really been caught clean by a big hitter at the higher weights. Cotto doesn't have one punch KO power. Mosley didn't hit Pac with anything big, never landed his big overhand rights that he landed on Margo, Hoya, and Mayweather. I wonder how he would have reacted getting hit by those shots... never got a chance to see it, as Mosley just couldn't pull the trigger on Pac and ran most of the fight after being put down.

Honestly, it is amazing how people are putting Margo above Oscar. Yes Margo has a excellent chin or had, he took flush rights from a Mosley and Oscar has sufficiently better defense... BUT Oscar fought Mosley twice... in their first fight Oscar took MANY big right hands from Mosley NEVER ONCE wobbled... and this was a absolute PRIME mosley, who had the same power BUT WAY MORE speed. Not only that but he fought a roided Mosley in the second fight, and was hit with some big right hands, a few stunned him but he ate it up.

Not to mention that he was weight drained and old against Pac, and pretty much just ate up everything Pac throw at him without Wobbling ONCE and the corner wanted to stop the fight as it was obvious Oscar couldn't pull the trigger and was a sitting duck. To put this in perspective, people who are often weight drained their punch resistance is hindered... Oscar just ate it up, fighting at a weight that he had not been contending at for YEARS.

So while Delahoya had flash knockdowns to the head by two people, I think his chin maybe on par with Margo or even better. Just my opinion.

    So my list is:

    Delahoya=Margo
    Mosley
    Pac

Pac being at the top is ridiculous. He has been KO'd with headshot, sure it was at a low weight, he was also nearly KO'd with a jab back then. His punch resistance got better when he moved up in weight... and was hit often against top quality like Morales and JMM, but he really hasn't been hit by big punchers at WW. Like could he take monster rights by Mosley? I dont know as we didn't get the chance to see it. It is absolutely shocking to put Mosley last.

Overall Mosley may have the best resistance overall, Chin plus body. He only got hurt against Forrest in the second and Pac when he was old. He got hurt to the body against Forrest but ate it up and I have no idea how he was able to absorb that beating.
