He also answered 1 of his fans questions about a potential Ward-Dirrell fight, said networks aren't interested in that fight currently.
Ward is a real, a big, an enormous, juicy cum squirting ***** for laying down some propaganda like that on his Twitter. What an uninformed man. Bute was an HBO fighter at the time, rematching Andrade to clear that matter up. Ward was a ****in nobody, so was Dirrell. Froch was #3, Kessler was #1. What a load of bull****. Look at him talking **** about Kessler, when the man hasn't fought world level opposition in so long. What a *****. :rofl
No network approval? No problem. Bute-Froch in the UK, Showtime out. What, Ward ain't big enough to pull a middle finger on SHO the way Bute did? Again, I must say, what a *****. :conf
the only reson he has the resumay he has is because of the s6...without the s6 ward would still be wating on a sign from god to face apponents...pathetic *****
I have a hard time believing it's the networks who don't want Ward vs. Dirrell. Doesn't really make sense, UNLESS they attack a price tag on themselves that force the networks to say no.
It's very egregious what Andre Ward is doing here and everything he has said regarding Bute implies a tiny bit of weariness towards a potential match up. Ward has thrown out a plethora of reasons why he shouldn't have to fight Bute but it all boils down to Ward believing Bute is not worthy. Ward is using the non-participation of Bute in the super-six tournament against him as an excuse not fight him. It's a way to deflect from not having to fight the number two 168 pounder in the world. Here's a quote of Ward talking about Bute. Obviously everyone says Bute is the next guy. He is the second highest ranked fighter in the division. It's the biggest fight that can be made at 168. Ward needs to understand that the tournament is over. Ward is the winner and now people want him to fight the best guy outside of the tournament, not unofficially continue the tourney by fighting opponents Ward's already beat. It's obvious from interviews and quotes coming from Ward he is enthusiastic about a potential rematch with Kessler. The unusual thing about this situation is Ward has shown a willingness to fight the best fighters in his division but for him to publicly come and give reasons why he shouldn't have to fight Bute, only days after his super-six win, shows that he is cautious about Bute and he is partly weary about the fight. It's very unusual for a fighter to publicly announce he is going to avoid a fighter as opponent but that is exactly what Ward did when speaking about Bute. There is no comprehensible explanation why Ward made public that he shouldn't have to fight Bute besides the fact he doesn't want the fight. Ward vs Bute already stands to be a bigger fight than the super-six finale. It's very nonsensical for Ward to say the number two ranked fighter in the division isn't worthy of a shot. Ward also saying Bute willfully sat back while the other 168 pounders fought in the super-six is dishonest as well. Ken Hershman, the man who masterminded the tournament didn't invite Bute to participate. Not only that, Ward calls out a fighter he already beat, who is currently ranked lower than Bute. It's clear looking at the situation, Ward-Bute is the biggest fight that can be made in the division, the fans want it, the Boxing media wants it, Bute wants it but Ward doesn't and has no quarrels making that fact public. Hopefully if Bute beats Froch, they make it happen right away.
Andre doesn't want Ward just yet, he's said as such recently. I think Anthony would take the fight but if Ward has only one or 2 fights left on his Showtime deal, they might not like that fight.
"That being said, I hope he wins his next fight, so we can give the fans what they want to see." It looks like Ward is saying here that he wants Bute to win so that he can fight him. Ward is a respectful, humble guy who just won the Super 6. He has no personality issues and fights tough comp, yet still gets shitted on. Success breeds criticism.
