Intelligence is one thing, but Khan shows an almost comical lack of savoir faire. He really has no awareness of how what he says and does is perceived. Some boxers who aren't the brightest sparks work within their limitations, and manage to not come across as a complete prat every time they open their mouth (or switch on their i-phone or whatever).

With Khan it's probably a combination of lack of smarts/charisma, along with being surrounded by a bunch of sycophants who massage his ego and tell him what he wants to hear.
