Managed to lose my dentist moulded gum shield. Getting fitted for a new one tonight but will probably be a week or two before it comes back. Can anyone recommend a decent gum shield to get me through sparring for the next week or so? Not expecting anything great, just comfy enough to use. Looking to spend around £5 max seeing how I'll be spending for the proper one. Cheers for any feedback
For 5 pounds, pretty much whatever you find in that price range. It's gonna be a piece of ****, but it'll get you through the next week or two.

Shock doctor has served me well, however a few years ago I did find a cracked tooth I didn't have previously, could be unrelated though! I do like them.
I don't think you can put a price on safety, especially considering how much a new tooth would cost you!
Mine is from www.opro.com, got the most expensive one and it still worked out at around £40 - perfect fit.
Thanks for the replies. Dentist said he'd make sure I got it back by end of week as its urgent so not gonna bother getting a cheap one. Just got to make sure I don't lose this one!
As an aside, how long did you have your old one for before you lost it? Just curious how long it is they take to degrade.
