I was thinking about how a Williams/Kirkland fight would play out the other other day and I'm intrigued as well. Would be a damn good scrap, with both guys being high octane and having had their beards tested before.

Rios vs Marquez will have everything if it gets made.

Bull and Matador, except this Matador is prone to getting knocked down, then getting up beating the Bull to a bloody pulp with artistry and poetry like skill.

**** ! That fight would be epic. Both lack defense, and a shaky shin but have good offense. Kirkland has the power but Williams has the work rate and speed.

I see this fight being a bit of a stinker.....two fighters who work best off their oppones offense. It will be a cat and mouse game to see who can get who to open up and make mistakes

Great fight, Marquez is amazing at dealing with fighters like Rios, but Rios has a lot more than Katsidis and Diaz

At the highest level of the sport:-

    Bute vs Ward

    Other interesting match ups:-

    Kessler vs Cleverly at LHW
Khan at WW against Berto, Brook, MJ, Ortiz....

    A blood feud grudge match:-

    Chavez Jr vs Alvarez

    Others
    Donaire vs Rigodeux
    Margarito vs Mayorga

Paul Williams that fought Margarito IMO would have beat Kirkland. Margarito came into that fight holding the compubox record of 1636 punches thrown, and Williams beat Margarito at his own game.

Kirkland also likes to pressure and come forward, but the current Williams seems like he has just gone over the hill while Kirkland has been coming to peak recently, I would go for close decision victory for Kirkland because I dont think Paul Williams has the power to render Kirkland unconcious.
