    Not only due to the performance, but the fact that he did it without a warmup after four years, and two or three surgeries.

    That was a fiirst in the division.

    Corrie Sanders for the Ring/WBC title no doubt. Sanders came to fight and tested Vitali's cheen.

    Trouncing Herbie Hide for the WBO title is also a memorable win.

    It's too bad Sam Peter was so out of it when he fought Vitali--could have been a classic.

    It's not Vitali's fault that he's so much better than his opponents. The likes of Solis and Adamek would have given many champions problems but not Vitali.
