Was Meldric Taylor robbed out in this fight?

So you have to do everything your corner tell you to do? Taylor was winning the fight so he knew this better than anybody else. This was why I said that he was stupid!

 

Sometimes things don't look the same to others as you see them in your head. Taylor trusted his corner. Not to mention he was beaten, battered, and bruised by that stage (his eyes were swollen nearly shut), so I doubt he was really thinking as clearly as he could've been.

I'm a Taylor fan, and I agree with the Stoppage. As someone else, the ref isn't concerned with the time. He was looking out for the fighter, I don't think this was an intentional robbery by any means.

I dont think so in this fight when goingRichard Steele watch his point of view. To me it was clear that Steele tried to get Taylor a chance. Lou Duva distracted Taylor coming up on the ring apron to advise Taylor. Stopping Steele from making eye contact with Taylor, so Steele stopped the fight feeling that Taylor was trying to hide that he was hurt

Oh, and Im a Taylor fan and thought it was a robbery until Steeles documentary and his explanation.

 

You can't compare DLH v.s. Trinidad to Chavez v.s. Taylor I. Those 2 fights were totally different. For Steele., it wasn't only this mistake that he made. He made another stupid mistake in Tyson v.s. Ruddock I.

Like people have mentioned, Steele doesn't have a stopwatch. I dont see how it was a bs stoppage considering he counted for him then even asked him if he was ok, to which Taylor didn't respond back to. Remember hearing he was taken to the hospital right aftsr pissing blood. It was a hell of a fight, all credit to Taylor but to people that say Steele should have given him the fight for his effort is dumb. What about all the effort Chavez put in?
