    He says it right there in the video that this thread is based on:

    "I need to be fighting at that top table in boxing. You know, that elite level. I've proven that I'm the best welterweight out there now."

    I've also heard, back in his days with Wazza, that he'd do a job on Pacquiao.

    While normally I'd jump at the chance to put the boot in on Khan, Brook has done nothing that demands a domestic superfight with Khan. There is absolutely no upside for Khan to fight him (bigger, unproven, virtually unknown to the general public), and there's at least half a dozen alternatives out there that would bring in more money.

    Brook really needs to bring something of his own to the table, which means charting his own path for the time being and looking for Khan down the line.

    He obviously didn't.

    Right in that video, he talks about fighting the elite fighters of the division. He's just beaten the crap out of Hatton, so which elite UK welterweight is he aiming for next? None, of course. Because he's talking about the rest of the world.

    Khan will be begging for a Brook fight after Peterson crushes his dreams in April. GBP will give up on his ass and send him back to the UK. he'll just be another hypejob exposed and a stepping stone for Brook :yep

    He clearly meant in the UK, all the talk was of this being the 2 best in their division domestically, you can keep being wrong and thinking otherwise if you want though.

    Hearn said in another interview, this is a struggle of 50/50. I did not come across people who said Hatton to win, not to mention 50/50. Appaling reviews team and the sky.

    Well to some extent I do understand where Khans coming from.

    Khans been in with some of the top fighters from his division and is considered one of its leaders, what exactly has Brook done to get Khan to notice him and stop his plans of getting fights with guys like Bradley, Pac, Mayweather, Ortiz, ect. Beaten M.Hatton?

    Brook needs to fight someone like Maidana, Matthysse, Judah, ect, theres steps in boxing to fighting the big names (are there exceptions? yes, fighters get shots all the time when they dont deserve it, and its usually because they are taking short money and have next to no chance to win)

    Like I said, once Brook leaves the domestic scene and notches some victories? Id understand this talk.... until then Khan really has no reason to fight him.

    Idk.... just imo.

    I have to agree with Khan. Theres no point for him to fight Brook. Not when he's in line for much bigger fights.

    How many people outside the UK actually know who Kell Brook is anyway?

    I bet they'll be thinking about the model Kelly Brook
