Felix Sturm I'd increase his cardio and make him become less gun shy. When he throws combo's he is one of the best in boxing. His jab is excellent but he doesn't throw it enough any more as well He still has a very good chin and can take body shots so he's not missing much IMO.
Floyd Mayweather, so I could surround myself with greatness and learn a thing or two about the sport, I know far too little to become a trainer, but with my ambition and hunger for the sport, I'd probably soak up every bit of knowledge in training camp with Floyd Mayweather, and he'd win with or without trainers.
Sonny Bill Williams. He definitely has the physical tools and is eager to learn. He desperately needs to... 1) sort out his footwork 2) use his athleticism/fitness as a weapon(in much the same way as the All Blacks do) 3) stop telegraphing his punches. 4) develop a jab Those 4 things alone would instantly make him a top 20 HW contender.
He's a world class center so doesn't have time etc to train in boxing. He's better off playing rugby anyways!! Other then that i agree
Paul Williams. I'd get him to use his jab more to control distance and set up his left cross. I'd match him with 1. Erislandy Lara Goal: To prove that he deserved an unpopular decision also the first testing grounds of my training. 2. Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. Move into a championshhip fight against a high profile oppoent. 3. Sergio Martinez Rubber match between the two. Williams one a close decision in the first Martinez won by 2nd round ko, in the second. Williams neeeds this win to secure his lagacy.
A slightly younger Mayweather or Vitali so i would not have to do **** except showup and cash a check (im sure i could learn to do a padwork routine) These guys basicly train themselves anyway.
I would only train someone that I didn't want to succeed. Given that I am not exactly qualified to teach boxing I am sure that I could only be detrimental to any boxer's career.
David Haye. Has the speed, reflexes, power, and footwork to be a great heavyweight, but lacks the I.Q. on how to adapt to a fight differently to another. Doesn't have a decent jab, his only defense is running and ducking, doesn't know how to counterpunch or throw a combination to save his life everything is one punch at a time. Doesn't know what a bodypunch is either. He's not a large heavyweight so knowing how to neutralize a jab, counter, bodyattack, and use lateral movement while having a good defense is essential.
