Not at the time he fought Duran, he was the reigning champion and i don't think he'd be losing 40 pounds. Just can't see him adding 40 pounds then losing it inside 8 months.

The shot Leonard took from Kalue in the eighth round, and the shot that Michael used to stall Dwight Muhammad Qawi in the second round of their fight.

Tony Galento showed inhuman punch resistance in his bout with Joe Louis
Before being battered to a Tko he took numerous flush and hard combos to head, and walked through them for the first few rounds with no problems

Ali v shavers. Still convinced to this day that Ali was in bad trouble but used kidology to prevent shavers following up

Which one was that? He landed a lot of flush shots that didn't much bother Leonard, considering Kalule wasn't a puncher.

Carmen Basiilio took a shot from Sugar Ray in their first fight. I believe it was the 13th round, maybe the 14th.

It was a classic hook off the jab and Carmen never saw it. It stunned him and he retreated for about a minute to recover but he stayed up. It had to be as hard as the one that stretched Fullmer the year before.

Shavers's right hand on Larry Holmes. It dropped him but he got up to stop Ernie in late rounds.

A left hook Shavers smashed Cobb with. It made a loud thud and Cobb just stood there, didn't even look shaken up. The hook looked every bit as hard as the one that decked Lyle.

The combos SRR landed on Lamotta in their 6th fight was insane

Joe Louis hitting Max Baer with everything but the kitchen sink in their fight and Baer never really looked too bothered, even the first knockdown Baer slouches to his side and gives Louis a hats off lol

A prime Julian Jackson hitting Mike McCallum flush several times and he didn't seem shaken for more than a split second

    1) The aforementioned Antuofermo-Hart fight. I think it was in the 4th that the Cyclone landed a full-blooded left hook on Vito - nothing happened - and then Hart repeats the left hook. Think it sliced Vito's right eye but nothing happened. It was then that Vito turned it on.

    2) Can't remember the round but it was in the 3rd Leonard-Duran fight. Duran's back is to the ropes and Ray unloads one of the hardest, cleanest right hands flush on the jaw that I have seen. It almost took Duran's feet out from him with the force, but nothing happened. Amazing.

    3) The 2nd Basilio-Demarco fight. Possibly the 7th round Tony unloads his fabled left hook. Carmen does a dance, a stagger and regroups while Tony is on him. Wild stuff.

Someone already beat me to it, the left hook Tyson handed on Holyfield and Holy didnt even blink in the second fight, just before the bite.

The left hook to the liver is the most painful blow in the game and ill never forget Evander Holyfield taking as hard a shot from freekin Lennox Lewis as ive ever seen and shaking it off.

He was in extreme agony but he did it.

    Amazing!!
