No, the script is beat mediocre guys, lose to the best, have ups and downs with the guys in between them. That is the script and he sticks to it very, very well. The only time he didn't was Spinks, who isn't exactly a super hero, himself.
When has Zab ever lost to anyone he should have beaten? That's the thing people never give him credit for. He never drops that unexpected fight to a bum. He just doesn't. He lost to May. He was nutpunched to death after battering Kotex. He was headbutted by Clottey. He was nut-punched by Khan. He was dominating Zoo before the early stoppage. Baldy got lucky. Zab is back baby!
To be fair, Zab did look much better than he has against similar caliber opponents. I don't think he's on the verge of anything great, but he moved extremely well and set up his shots perfectly. I was surprised to see him put together his combinations so fluidly as well. I guess maybe his team now suits him better than Whitaker did.
