Would love UK Middleweight Super 6, who's with me?

    I know that I have more chance of Steve Bunce fighting for a world title in the next year than seeing this happen, but with such decent UK and Irish middleweights out there then the thought of a Super 6 style tournament containing them all would be a dream come true.

    Just wanted to see your thoughts and feelings of the possibility of having the likes of;

    Darren Barker
    Kerry Hope (New European Champion from Wales)
    Andy Lee (Irish fighter based in USA)
    Matthew Macklin
    Martin Murray
    (and another opponent of course)

    Although highly unlikely, that would be brilliant to see.

    What you reckon?

    I think a 4 way tournament between Barker, Murray, Macklin and Lee would be better as Hope isn't as accomplished and I think should have a rematch with Proksa first. Also a 4 way tournament is much easier logistically because if someone wants to pull out after a loss it isnt damaging to the whole structure

    It would be great but they all intend on cashing in on their world title level perception. The division is a mess and they can each cash in on controversial decisions and okay performances.

    I don't think Lee would be interested at this point in time as he seems close to a title shot.

    Yeah he isn't ranked yet in Britain due to fighting in America but i'd fancy him to do well against the other mentioned middleweights

    It would be excellent. If all six fighters were to appear on the same bill it would definately be ppv worthy imho. No chance of happening of course.
