Canelo is yet another China Chinned GBP Hype Job, but Kirkland is awful, one of the very worst rated fighters in Boxing today. He also has what is clearly the worst Chin. Canelo would spark him in under five.
Been saying this for a while. Kirkland is just a forward-plodding brute. Canelo would look good providing his stays out of the way of those bombs.
My money is on the Glass Jawed guy who has some modicum of Boxing ability and that would be Alvarez. Still, I would certainly tune in because there is no way that Glass doesn't shatter.
Kirkland gets starched inside 5 rounds, the guy has no chin and no defense Even Canelo's defense is much better than Kirkland's and that's saying something
I don't think it's as easy for Alvarez as some think considering he managed to get rocked by the 2011 version of Kermit Cintron.
Kirkland is so one dimensional, if he is not going forward and swinging, he's got nothing. His only chance against Canelo is by KO, and that is only if he can take the heat. Very inconsistent fighter. Angulo was great for him, someone was going to get koed. Molina deserves a rematch before Kirkland moves on to other opponents. Molina also needs a lesson in rules, the constant holding and the headlock holding Kirkland's head down and punch from around his back with no comment or warning fron the ref was classic. I could not understand Kirkland's thinking or strategy. Fighting like he did he might as well form a new boxing organization with Kimbo.
