Your one to talk. All you do is praise Pacquiao. Your considered one of the worst posters on this forum. Get Pacuiao's dick out of your mouth.:deal

I just said from the very beginning if I have to bet money against Floyd I'd put my money on Mayweather so there goes your argument. :hi:

Very dramatic take, that. I don't buy into it, personally. :conf

They did that when they were young fighters. You're acting like their careers started a couple years ago. These are fighters in the twilight of their careers that have proven themselves already, many times over. If Pacquiao has a main rival it's JMM, someone whom he's shared multiple fights and weight classes not Mayweather. Mayweather's main rival? How about Castillo?

They are not each other's main rivals or really rivals at all except in the minds of desperate fans that cling onto this match-up. Pacquiao wasn't even in the vicinity of Mayweather's weight range until he retired, for crying out loud. They've barely been active at the same time in the same weight class. It doesn't retroactively render their careers less than great. It doesn't erase anything.

To each their own opinion... but I think its disgraceful, both are in the same weight right now & its between these 2 guys to determine greatest of the era, it would be a fascinating clash of styles as well as possibly the richest fight in history.... & lets not forget the lift it would give boxing, the fact that the fans worldwide have been practically begging these assholes to get it on & how much it would enhance both their legacies if they did.

I think your letting them off too lightly, I think they should be banned from boxing until they fight each other, as I`ve already said, this would not be allowed to happen in other sports.

I'm no ******* but I blame Floyd for this mess. He is the one that is always talking scared and making himself unavailable when it counts. I would obviously watch the fight if it happened, but I wouldn't care as much as I did if it happened 2-3 years ago, if at all. The *****'s spout a lot of **** about Arum and some if it may be true (maybe even most of it), but Floyd is always going on about Pac being some kind of superhuman that has achieved things only a superhuman fighter can do, which is not the talk of someone who is supremely confident of beating him, especialy as he's also said he would beat Pac easily (so why not just make the fight?). Even if Arum is mostly to blame for the fight not happening, Floyd would just find another reason not to make the fight if Arum didn't exist, his whole persona depends on that '0' and fooling people into thinking he's unbeatable

For the record I would pick pretty much any version of Floyd to beat Pac, but Floyd himself doesn't think that or he would have moved heaven and earth to make the fight happen. I've never seen a fighter so determined to not face another fighter yet still retain his fans loyalty to the point of ******ation . . .

Every reasonable person who has followed the fiasco agrees with you. There's really no point stating what you've said here because it's already been done a thousand times over, and it will still be refuted with irrational points from fanboys.

Armstrong is a huge task to overcome with an incredible resume and god given ability in the ring.

If floyd was to beat pac, cotto, alvarez and martinez he'd make my top ten.

Imo. Mayweather has the same problem (well not exactly the same) that the Klitschoes have - at least Wlad).

He is in an area without ATG fighters to measure himself against. And the fighters that he could have chosen (this is where his situation is different from the Klitschos) he has avoided and not fought.

The only one is Pacqiauo and that is probably not happening.

Mosley he fought when Mosley was clearly over the hill (still quite good, but not at all a threat). Martinez is the other one that I would give Floyd credit for beating (or even having the guts to meet), but that is also just about too late now because Sergio declined the past year and age is showing.

There are noone else really. Cotto, Alvarez, Ortiz... they are ok, but really dont do much if we are talking trying to match Armstrong. So realistically Floyd cannot match Armstrong, and he was in a rather weak era but the chances he had... he did not take.

Come back and talk when Floyd beat a heavyweight. even if he beat a heavyweight he's just on par with Pacquiao in term of greatness.

    armstrong, huh?

weighing up the respective records and achievements i think you're being a bit harsh, i'd have pbf ahead at this point.

I don't know much about Armstrong apart from him being a 3-weight classes world champion (when there were only 8 weight classes) but why can't Floyd surpass him? What has he done that is so unreachable by Floyd?
