I used to watch Stevens every time he was on Showtime or Versus. I was watching the fight live when while he was an undefeated and promising prospect, he lost to a journeyman who was extremely out of shape and took the fight on short notice. Hope his comeback goes well.

    How close?

Stevens will always fail against anyone remotely close to world level. No use telling you how flawed he is though.

Not everyone can be a world champion. I'm in the world of swimming and if we did'nt have thousands of kids practicing the sport, we would not have Olympic athlete. Tell me if I'm wrong, but it must be the same in boxing. Good luck to him.

Yeah I've pulled for Stevens but that was a humbling loss. I always
thought he was just too small for supermiddleweight, maybe he can
get something going at 160lbs. or even jr mid. he looks like he could
    physically sustain that weight.
