At least Arreola will provide some excitement. He will come to fight. It would be nice to see Wlad actually engage, but I sense he will just hold a lot.

  3. Fights take time but these fights we are waiting for suck ass. Mormeck doesn't even count. Thompson is 78 years old and looked bad in his last win over a can. The Arreola fight should be ok though.
But why can't Wlad fight as many times as Tyson did? Or some of those othr fighters. Wlad was barely hit in his last 4 fights. He should be fighting every other month. He could fight more often if he really wanted to.

well said. i like thompson and he did give wlad one of his better fights IMO BUt it still wasn't that close and that was like 3-4 years ago and he's now over 40 i'm pretty sure. agreed that wlad shoulda gotten this mando out of the way instead of wasting a lot of time tied up with complete joke mormeck.

well said about arreola and the rest of the division. that's one thing about thompson - he appears to at least tried to fight descent comp lately if only landing top 40 guys (a probably damaged owen beck and mo harris --he was scheduled to go at chambers). arreola and a few others are content fighting the lowest comp possible so long as they can possibly land a shot off of name, record, or whatever

I do not blame K2 for wanting the Arreola fight at MSG. Arreola will not have the home crowd advantage like he would have at Staples Center. Unless the Puerto Rican's show up and support Arreola, which I doubt.

Arreola is litterally the only fight I have any interest for with Wlad....Wlad most likely plays safety first and engages in a borefest where he jabs him for 10 rounds then throws the right and harpoon KO's him buuuuuut Arreola can crack and if he laces Wlad with a good one who knows?? After this, other than Povetkin who will never fight a Klit, I think Wlad should call it a day as there's no one left that presents a challenge in the way of even having a 10 percent chance of winning.

Madison Square garden is the "heart of boxing". If US it should be there. Just simple.

Wlad fights very much in the beginning of his career. 2 or 3 times is enough for a world Champion.

    Are you kidding?

With 35 Tyson fought once!!!, with 36 Tyson fought once!!!

First you should get the facts together. Wlad fought very often as a "young" boxer. He has 60 fights!

Really, I think Wlad vs Chisora would have sold pretty well right now. With the commotion that Chisora has created.

Fighting him would have been better then fighting Arreola or Thompson (I realise thompson is a mandatory)

I hope when Chisora gets unbanned Wlad chooses him isntead of Arreola.

Would be interesting to see if Wlad would try or be able to stop Chisora. It wouldnt be like Haye, a guy using his feet to move out of range and picking spots to engage, Chisora would be right there, walking into Wlad throwing bombs. damn.... want to see it.

Again with this sort of thing. Arreola isn't even a top 10 guy Wlad could fight yet once again we have ridiculous posts like yours above telling us Arreola is the best fight out there despite getting beaten easily the only 2 times he's stepped up not to mention that Arreola has never beaten another top 20 HW.

    Povetkin
    Adamek
    Helenius
    Wach
    Pulev
    Dimitrenko
    Seth Mitchell
    Boytsov
    Ustinov
    Fury

Hell, even David Rodriguez would be a better title challenger, he's even American so that'll keep you happy too.

It is a stupidly long wait considering Wlad didn't even have to break a sweat against Shot Mormeck. :-(

Only because Wlad ducked Chisora, to let Vitali handle him for him.

Oh, & Thompson only won like one round last time around, at best. :yep

    Seconded. :good

    Wlad would KO Chisora.

Chisora is nothing special. Arreola is a better choice for the US.

Agreed. I liken it to a heavyweight version of Berto VS Ortiz.

Of course he's not, Vitali fought him

But when it was Wlad that signed to fight him it was a great fight according to you. :-(
