Toney is an excellent Boxer with amazing skills. At heavyweight he was so overweight, Tyson would have slaughtered him and pounded that fleshy body all night.
I know it's a troll thread, but TS is kinda amusing; so, I'm gonna side with him and my boy Toney. Toney wouldn't be just another bum that was put in front of the young Tyson. Consider the following: 1. Tyson would have no intimidation factor. Toney fears no man. 2. Tyson had a tendency to become frustrated when getting outboxed and resort to headhunting, which leads me to my third point below. 3. Toney has a very small head. 4. If Toney managed to find Toney's little head, his chin would carry him through. Toney has one of the most durable chins in boxing. 5. Toney would be the best boxer that Tyson had faced, assuming we are talking pre-Holmes. I digress, but a Holmes that had been retired for a couple of years was frustrating Tyson at times and snapping his head back. 6. If Tillis and Green could take Tyson the distance at his peak, there is no reason that Toney couldn't do the same. Toney by wide UD.
I'd give Toney a slight chance against post-prison Tyson, if he could frustrate Tyson and make him lose his discipline. Pre-prison Tyson would stop Toney in 10 IMO.
the toney that fought and beat holyfield woul have KO'd a post jail tyson. He also had the chin and defence power and skill to give prime tyson a tough fight. I'm not saying Toney is a better heavyweiight than tyon was. But style wise i think he could have even given a prime tyson a good fight. As long as he managed to take the fight to the 2nd half with a decent amount of stamina left in him, and had worked the body enough to slowdown the prime tyson, he then could have started picking him off.
