Media outlets getting involved? Like which?

We need respected journalist to get involved in this idea of exposing corruption and embarassing the boxing establishment.
I dont see it. The best we get from the media is a minor mention when a decision goes the wrong way that it is once again a black eye for the sport.

What we need is for boxing beat writers and respected boxing sites to keep tabs of which judges render the worst decisions, which refs make bad calls, and keep it in their archives for anyone that cares to click on and get that information.

The boxing establishment as a whole, which includes those who broadcast it like HBO, needs to be put on alert that boxing fans are on to their nonsense.
But it aint happening because when anything happens like this where someone wants to make a difference and expose the establishment, someone is paid off to bring the site or sites down.

Minor mentions like what we have here in this thread is'nt enough.
The corruption has to be exposed on a grand scale and its hard to see that evolve and come to fruition with so many people manipulated to hush up.

I've watched so many fights I believed to be robberies over that past 30 yrs. Now, some of those were fights I didn't have a dog in, and I'd forget about em thinking they were still robberies, but recently with the DVR I've been able to record and and replay so many "robberies" that upon review, I coulda gave the fight to the guy who won.

Scoring a fight is subjective. For instance. A fighter can throw 100 PPR, lands 60% of his shots, but to the arms or not clean. Meanwhile the other counters 50 times, lands 25 of his shots, but each is a power shot, clean and the volume puncher is wobbled repeatedly, stopped in his tracks several times etc etc etc.
Now, one judge sees the round 10/9 for the volume puncher. In his/her eyes this fighter was the agressor and his shots were effective.
But the other judge sees it far different, scoring it 10/8 for the CPr. In his eyes, the CPr dominated the agressive potshotter and hurt him multiple times and even without KDs, felt the round was dominated enough to be scored 10/8.
Other fights are even more difficult to score. Especially when two iron chinned fighters are going at it. One may only throw 50 shots, the other 100. They land 30 and 40 shots respectively, but the bigger guy hits harder and is known for his KOs whereas the other is not so well known. A judge might be inclined to score the round to the lesser active guy.

We also MUST remember that close rounds are almost ALWAYS given to the Champion or to the hometown fighter. This has been so for all of boxing history and should NOT be changed. I've seen judges from the "robbed" fighters hometown/nation give a round to the hometown guy or champ simply due to this unwritten rule. The challenger MUST win 55% of the round. 51% does NOT cut it. He has to win big and clear or the hometown/champ wins the round, period.:nono
