Hall tested 10 times the legal limit what was he on ?

Why were neither punished ? Its just as people say a crusade to try to bring down an all time great while trying to bring up all time jokes ! Why else is it that only Calzaghe fans attack Jones :lol:

Those articles by Head show how both men failed the test but Hall's level's were higher than Jones ..Now im no expert but how is it that one guy tests higher than the other ..Who was really on the PED ?

Roy aint a HOFer he a ATG.

Calzaghe was big favourite to beat Roy Jones.

People just thought if Roy can turn back the clock one more time he would kill Calzaghe, because a prime Calzaghe would be no match hence he wanted the crown jewels

What were the vegas odds for Jones Calzaghe ? Wasn't Joe a 3-1 fav? So his peers pickd Jones why wouldn't they ? Im sure Johnson was going to pick Jones when Joe ducked him like 3 times ..And Dan Rafeal is the worst !

Shameful thread..... H2H Roy Jones is one of the toughest people out there in his prime.
He was the first person in 100 years to go from a MW title to a HW title
He was the first person EVER to start his campaign at 154lbs and win a heavyweight title.
In his prime not only did he not loose....the man HARDLY lost a round

....Holding a WBO title for 10 years and only defending it against a handful of live opponents does NOT compare to this

He should have quit a long time ago I agree...but people hating on Jones now is just a joke. He would tear his way through most MW/SMW/LHW divisions in history through his boxing ability and athleticism...

Some people really are just pathetic, we got the chance to see one of the greatest boxers that ever lived and people are jumping on the roid bandwagon for this rippedfuel and bigging up Joe Calzaghe and showing clips of him being KO'd in his 40's....yeah cool!

some interesting quotes from calzaghe on jones

" I was one of his biggest fans but you have to question why his performance levels completely dipped from the moment it transpired a few years ago that he had failed a drugs test in a fight in Indiana against another american, Richard Hall. All of a sudden, he fell from the premiership to league 2, from being absolutely peerless, to distinctly average "

" If I had of fought Jones at his peak and got beaten, I would feel swindled today, knowing that he had taken steroids. Its cheating, theres no other word for it, and I don't know how it managed to be swept under the carpet for a number of years and he went totally unpunished "

" If steroids can make athletes run faster, they can surely help a boxer to hit harder and to hit faster and to hit quicker and to hit for longer and this will help him to inflict more punishment, which I think is repulsive"

Had RJJ vs Calzaghe happend during 2000 - 2002, I would have put all my VCash on RJJ KO under 9 and a half rounds.
