damn he's my top prospect id rather he was trained by Nacho or Steward he is tall for his weight class and Steward very good at teaching how to control distance.

roach wouldn't be the guy I want to go to if I was still young and learning. He's too busy and would mainly provide gameplans.

It is tough though for fighters to get the right trainers for them, like Abner Mares he was trained by Nacho but preferred a more aggressive style for himself (Since Nacho bases the majority of his teach on counter- punching.)

Freddie Roach trains about fifty fighters but how much time do these guys get? Do you think Lateef Kayode is really benefiting from one-to-one time with Roach? Most of the benefit of the Wildcard is the sparring.

Who's with Mares now? Him and Garcia would be good except it may be weird with Donaire there

I certainly agree with that :good, different subject but because he's such a low weight class he gets forgot about but Ioka is a legend in the making when you knock out the #1 ranked champ is 1 round of your 6th professional fight you know thats something special the guy he KO'd for the title was like 35-0 too.

I think it's Clemente Medina now but that doesnt matter Mares is fighting Eric Morel next dude doesn't beat around the bush he really is fighting the best 1 after another no tune ups no nothing I respect that quite a bit. I think Garcia is a top trainer one of the best especially when it comes to teaching how to fight on the inside but Mares is a stick and move kind of fighter so Im not sure that would go well.

That was the primary reason Linares gave for coming to WC.

Terrible match-making, too. In his first fight back after a damaging loss, they put him in with a guy who has an 80% KO record? Maybe Oscar should quit pointing the finger at Roach, and learn how to manage a prospect.
