I mean, in the hypothetical case that the Klits decided to ignore their brotherly ties and finally gave the fans the ultimate unification match so many fans crave to see. I think most people would expect the fight to be like a sparring match with neither brother trying to hurt the other too much... But what if that wasn't the case? What if they completely sever their ties once in the ring, (in the name of professionalism, fans, champion pride, love for the sport, etc) and beat the crap outta each other in a real WAR, tougher than any of their previous battles, I'm talking Gatti-Ward level of violence here, ending with one (or both) brothers covered in blood, face disfigurement, possibly shot to ****, etc How would people react to it? like this? :happy or like this?:-( and would you like to see a match like that?
As much as a match like that would clear a lot of things up in the division and add to the legacy of the winner, I don't think it should be made and I would hate to see them go at it as you describe. I just don't think Brothers should ever do that and risk the health of the other. I love my brothers. I would never imagine beating on them in that manner.
Sad thing is, a Vitali-Wlad match would need to have some degree of brutality, otherwise people would forever accuse them of going easy on each other and scamming the fans. For the Klitschkos it'd be a lose/lose situation, they'll get flak is they dont go all out, and also if they do. Imagine if one of them puts the other in a coma, it'd be one of the saddest things to ever happen in boxing. Still a mouth watering match, though
As much as I;d be interested in the fight.. I doubt they do it.. I would never fight my brother or my cousins at that.... for money.. or for free.... don't expect them too either....
It's not for the money, it's for the glory, for the sport, for the fans, to determine who's the bestest :bbb
What's the point of Vitali fighting Sander's leftovers well, the point is to determine the lineal champ, that is. Dont you guys whine all the time because we can't have one? Vitali would have more of those belts if it wasn't for the accursed 4 years layoff. Vitali's injuries really robbed us of some great fights. Rahman lost his chance to get beaten to a pulp by Vitali because of it.
