that doctor didnt even look at the **** ... he look like thompsons corner man ... fighting a mexican in mexico is like fighting sturm in germany ... linares got worked and didnt look good at all .. he need to let them cuts heal

 

That's a new and refreshing take. So you're saying the fix was in for the underdog to win the fight.



but then you shoot your own theory by agreeing with the Doctor

 

Linares was in a boxing stance when he got caught by all those right hands. He's just not a very smart fighter...just athletic. Thompson threw the same punch 10 times and it was effective. How can you not adjust?

And the stoppage seems premature. The doctor barely looked at the cut.

 

If you're not prepared with the right reactions, they're not going to suddenly show up in a span of 3 minutes while your opponent throws a multitude of hard punches at your head. Either he wasn't drilled in keeping his left hand high while slipping or blocking an overhand right, or he didn't have time to adjust, or both. It's not that he's "just athletic"; nobody looks like that just being athletic.

 

Early stoppage. Should have let him fight till he gets stopped or till the cut got real bad.
