I thought Grant was giving the white buffalo a rematch after KO12 last time. Obviously they didn't have a rematch so who is Grant gonna fight next? Grant has the WBF belt which is sort of like the c level championship I guess. Grant calls out Klits every day.
I tired looking up more on this bout and couldnt find much How was the knockout? Did Takam dominate, did Botha, or was it even?
Takam v Botha was for the WBF International Belt or something like that. So we should be seeing Grant v Takam next for the full WBF belt. Apparently the fight went similar to Grant v Botha, Botha dominated early on, but his poor fitness and stamina saw him become tired quickly and Takam was able to stop him late on. Although Takam put up a better performance than Grant did, Takam would probably have taken the fight on points anyway while Grant was well behind on the cards when he stopped Botha.
Horrible, horrible fight for Grant. He need better mgmt if he's being allowed this type of fight. Grant could easily get another title shot by just getting active in the Clevel like Arreola has maintained. Wach, is all wrong for him, and if Grant looking for a singular fight to get it on with the K2, he should win the NABU title from Banks. It's a much more winnable fight, drive him even further up the rankings, and K2 promoter even said that that several of these lesser known guys calling them out might want to consider that route. Seems the best and obvious choice for Grant IMO.:think
Thats a fight he'll have to look real good in to move forward with it. As a fan, I wish he'd be far more active than he is. He really needs at least 3-4 guys inside a yr on this level if he wants to garner attention.:think
I reckon Takam beats him. Grant's activty during fights is so low. He keeps looking for that one big punch (though that tactic has served him well in his last two fights)
I saw the fight. Takam was too heavy and too slow and gassed out early. But he was more active than Botha who took too many shots. Botha landed some good shots but he has no stamina, no guard . Botha still has some power but with his low activity in the ring, it was difficult for him to knock Takam out. Takam has to lose some weight if he wants to be competitive against a decent level boxer. I saw him against Oloukun, he was fitter, faster and had a better stamina.
who gives a ****....and why the hell are you people following the bums in one of the worst divisions in the sport today?
It's called being a fan. We follow all the fights because we like boxing, imagine that. You dont have to watch and you dont have to bring your bull**** comments. Now **** Off!
